Voxer and USRowing have signed an agreement designating Voxer as an official sponsor of the 2011 U.S. Men’s National Team.

Voxer is an innovative application for smartphones. Voxer transforms communication between individuals or groups with the efficiency of instant voice. Filippi

Filippi is a manufacturer of high performance racing shells, based in Tuscany, Italy. Athletes from over 50 countries have raced Filippis and won hundreds of medals in world championship and Olympic competition since 1986. The company is an official supplier to the Italian Rowing Federation (FIC), as well as an official partner of the International Rowing Federation (FISA). It has been awarded ISO 9000 certification for outstanding quality control in manufacturing. The firm is represented in the U.S. by their exclusive agent, Elite Rowing, Inc., based in Boston.

Elite boat builder Filippi signed on as an official equipment supplier to the U.S. National Team in 2010, providing elite-level shells through the 2012 Olympic Games. With an impressive track record, Filippi boats are often the most frequently used boats at international regattas. Additionally, many athletes race their way onto the U.S. National Team by winning trials regattas in the Italian-made boats.

PowerHTV LLC

PowerHTV LLC and USRowing have signed an agreement designating Powerview as the official technology partner of USRowing and the U.S. National Team, providing electronic coaching tools and equipment through the 2012 Olympic Games. The contract runs through October 31, 2012.

Powerview, a trademark of PowerHTV LLC, was founded in 2009 and formally linked with Powerhouse Timing earlier this year. The Powerview system is composed of both a GPS to record speed and a set of accelerometers, which can measure check, acceleration and the set of a crew. When combined with the high-definition video recordings from on-board cameras, the lightweight unit affixed to the bow of the boat provides diagnostic information about the crew, its technique and the way the shell is rigged.

Vespoli

Vespoli racing shells have been leading the way for 30+ years, garnering countless victories at all levels of rowing including Olympic gold and more than 60 world championship medals. The junior women rowed the new “E” hull model to their first gold medal in the eight event in 2008 and repeated again in 2009.
